This Week's Barks

Bad Girls

"...the votes are in, and it's time for my concession speech." -- So said Xander himself.

This past week, you told me what you thought about Bad Girls...Thanks a lot for playing....Now, here's what y'all said:

dingochick: What do you think Faith hangs around campus during school hours for?:

So she can scope out the guy meat.
That dropout thing is just a cover; she's in AP classes.
Well, she did say she thought Giles was kinda hot.

The Winner: So she can scope out the guy meat.

Y'know, personally, I would've gone with option 3 again. But I didn't get to vote.

But it's not all Faith, all the time...

If Cordy and Faith are ever caught hanging out together, it will be because:

   Ho's R Us is having a sale.
Faith wants to make sure Cordy never slept with Xander.
   Buffy asked them to.

The Winner: Ho's R Us is having a sale. Whew. But it was close...."make sure Cordy never slept with Xander" placed second.

Okay, so I fibbed -- hey, everyone's doing it these days -- it really is all about Faith. They gave us a little insight into the character, but I...and maybe you..demand more! So we have to make our own fun...

Judging from this episode, Faith probably washes her unmentionables (lingerie, people):

   Once a week.
Every time after she kills some vamps.
Only after she has to dump a dead body.
Those weren't unmentionables, those were dish towels.

The Winner:Only after she has to dump a dead body. Placing Second? Those weren't unmentionables, those were dish towels.

Yak yak yak...dialogue dialogue dialogue. This was one of my favorite questions this week, because no one voted for one of the choices given. Say, maybe I'll try to include one answer that no one will select every week. Nah.

Which one of the following got the best lines in this episode?

   Giles
   Buffy
   The Mayor
   Mr. Trick

The Winner: By a hellmouth, I mean, a landslide: Giles! Go fussy Brit, go! Seriously though..I really agree!

What Did You Think of This Episode?

Then finally, your non-dingo guided opinion about the episode. I really liked reading everything you guys sent in..most of you guys were so, well...remember when Xander said he wasn't "Up with People"...you guys seemed pretty "down on Faith." Here's where I'm sharing some of the answers that completely made me snicker or more. Hope the authors don't mind. Please note that one word in particular popped up in both of these...and I just noticed it myself!

Mike said: Ok, this is actually a joke that my friend Trollboy made: 'shouldn't an elder demon be self-basting?'

And MadHatter said: It gave me a "Blade" meets "T2" meets "The Craft" meets "Thelma and Louise" meets "Return of the Jedi" meets "Macbeth" meets "Foxfire" happy that made me yearn for my juvenile delinquent high school days. Except the slaying thing. And the Jabba-with-basting-action thing. And the Family Circus/Root Beer thing. Mmm...root beer. Am I rambling?

Naw, you're not rambling MadHatter! Besides, "people underestimate the value of a good ramble." Heh.

Okay, well it was Mardi Gras, so in the spirit of "lagniappe" (a little something extra for those not in the New Orleans know)...I'm providing one more answer I found amusing.

Cara noted: It was great. Any episode where Giles gets to be a smart ass is always amusing. And Buffy's hair was back from that...bad crimpy thing she had in The Zeppo. We can all rejoice
